About Baroque House
Baroque House is a pre-war conservation shophouse designed by the prominent Eurasian architect JB Westerhout located in the most vibrant heritage district in Singapore with its own fascinating history.
The former courtyard and roof gable of what was possibly a grand country home was packed away inside a row of two-storey shophouses 103 years ago and its glorious secrets hidden from the world until now.
Today Baroque House has been rebirthed and restored having been wired with all the modern comforts of the 21st century while retaining the design, spirit, integrity and details of the original shophouse. Come discover this secret garden of history and finery.
